Is this the total cost to quilt my quilt top?

• Only if you receive a custom invoice from Fat Stitch with total. Otherwise this is simply a handy way to make a quick deposit and does not reflect the total nor 50% cost for our services. How long will it take?

• All projects are completed on a first-in first-out basis.
• We are currently booking two-to-four weeks out + shipping. If you need something in a hurry, please reach out but we shy away from rush jobs. Please note that additional prepping or finishing services such as piecing and binding can add 1-3 weeks to your project delivery timeframe.
• Ask us about VIP membership to get priority frame time. We have limited availability so we recommend reserving your spot before they fill up.

How does Shipping Work?

• We charge a flat $30 shipping and handling fee for quilts that require shipping (Free for local pickup). The shipping prep takes approximately one hour per-quilt plus shipping costs which is why we charge a small fee.
• This cost includes: Option to send you a pre-paid shipping label and mailer to pop your quilt top into, easy-peasy! Upon completion of your quilt, we ship it back to you.

Backing and Binding Supplies

• Supply your own or choose from our selection of backing fabric and bias binding for your convenience.

Batting

• We carry premium quality 100% natural batting (primarily bamboo or cotton) that is free from plastic, toxic resins, or scrims. 

Finishing Services

• We offer full finishing services such as piecing the back, ironing, trimming the quilt when it’s finished, and 1/2″ machine binding.
• For traditional binding with mitered corners we use a zigzag, sine, or decorative stitch
• We also offer a beautiful rag/chenille boarder option for artistic flair!

Thread

• We use premium plastic-free 100% Egyptian Cotton thread.
