Today we’re looking at the yarn-dyed selection of Essex linens by Robert Kaufman. I think these are extra special! “Yarn-dyed” means the fabric is dyed with an ancient method of weaving and textile manufacturing. The spools of yarn are dyed before weaving the fabric. You can see from the images below of our Spring Bloom bundle, the result is a dynamic fabric with a natural texture. The color melts into the yarn.

You know what would be fun! A quilt made of all yarn-dyed Essex linen. Below I’ve custom bundled a selection of Essex linen at a discount, so you can get to crafting! I call this colorway: The Spring Bloom bundle! Great for a throw blanket or a baby quilt.
These natural fabrics are a lightweight linen blend perfect for quilting and for other projects like sewing, embroidery and cross-stitch. You can choose these fabrics to make napkins, pillows and curtains too!
Enjoy, and stay creative friends :).
