We recommend prewashing all fabrics using the same method you will be using for the life of finished project, once sewn to minimize unexpected shrinkage. Fat Stitch tip, prewash your fabrics even hotter than your planned washing techniques for extra protection. That said, some artizans intentionally shrink their quilts after it’s sewn for an extra crinkly effect. Just bear in mind that Bamboo fabrics shrink between 4-6%.
