Batting *

Choose from one of our top-rated all-natural batting by Quilters Dream and Winline Textiles. In efforts to keep the shop clean for all customers, we don’t allow customers to supply their own batting. Should the cost of batting be a hardship, please e-mail us at orders@fatstitch.com and we will work with you. We believe in providing only the best quality 100% natural batting for longevity, breathability, sustainability, durability, drape quality, and the recipients health and comfort.

Trim Quilt

Option to have us trim off the excess batting and backing to square off the sandwich based on your quilt top. Please note we will trim to the edges of your original quilt top unless otherwise requested. Quilt tops that were not originally supplied squared-off will typically be finished the same way. The good news is that if your quilt top was sewn a bit wonky, it will generally be unnoticeable unless this is to be hung as a show quilt.

Top Binding Only (+$0.35)

Add your quilt’s perimeter here to determine total measurement of binding needed in inches.

Length x Height x 2 = Binding needed in inches

This option is to have us machine-bind the top of the binding only for you to sew the back seam to finish the quilt.

Top and Bottom Binding (+$0.45)

Using the method above, add the total number of inches needed for your binding here should you wish to have us machine-bind both the front and the back of the quilt so your quilt arrives back to you completed.

Quilt Back Piecing (+$35.00)

Add the total number of seams you would like sewn to complete your backing. For example if you need two panels pieced together, enter the number one. Please note that your backing fabric must be a total of 8″ larger in width and height than your quilt top. Backing that is supplied in the incorrect size will be charged a minimum of $15

Embroider custom label on back corner of quilt – $50 per color for supplied DST file. Call for custom designs. (+$50.00)

Add the total number of colors you would like. We recommend a maximum size of 5 x 5″. Option to provide text or a .DST file for us to embroider directly on the backing fabric of your quilt. This will be stitched at the very bottom in the left or right corner (unless otherwise specified), with enough room to clear the binding. This will not be sewn into the Quilt Top or batting unless requested. You can e-mail us your art and any questions to orders@fatstitch.com or call us at 925-504-9490.

How long will it take?

All projects are completed on a first-in first-out basis.
